Individual Counseling

The initial 1.5 hour appointment begins with a review of the client’s medical history, recent lab values, and a discussion of dietary habits and food preferences. Together, Sara and the client will explore food habits and behaviors, taking the first step in a transition from habitual eating to intuitive, inspired eating. By learning to incorporate mindfulness into one’s daily dietary habits, the need for restrictive diets and calorie counting begins to diminish, and a healthy relationship with food will begin to develop. Biometric screening included at each appointment.

Biometric Screening includes: Height, weight, body fat %, skeletal muscle %, visceral fat score, and blood pressure.

Family counseling will take place in the comfort of your own home. This approach often helps children to feel the most comfortable and least intimidated. Meeting in your home gives us the opportunity to work with the family in the kitchen, examine the foods in the refrigerator and cabinets, learn helpful label reading tips, and encourage children and teenagers to identify healthful food choices. Biometric screenings included for family members ages 16 and older.

Biometric Screening screening includes: Height, weight, body fat %, skeletal muscle %, visceral fat score, and blood pressure.

Food Sensitivity Testing

Medical research has discovered hidden intolerances to certain foods or additives in your diet can cause your symptoms. The Mediator Release Test (MRT) tests 170 foods and additives.
